couriers
I have just read on another site where someone has had a lot of damage done to her pram by a courier company. Sadly, this is not the first time I have heard of this happening. A very good friend of mine had a pram sent by Parcelforce and when it arrived the pram body and wheels were mangled, even though they had been well protected. She complained and got a refund for the cost of the transport, but this didn't make up for the fact that a perfectly good pram had been ruined. Parcelforce told her that all their parcels are passed through a scanner and that is where the damage had occurred. Can I ask if anyone knows of reputable couriers who they have used for transporting prams, that you post their details on here so others can use them. It is much better to use a recommended company so please let us have details of any couriers you would recommend.
