rainy days
In this "summer" weather of storms isn't it nice to have a coachbuilt pram where you don't have to struggle with a plastic raincover to keep your baby dry. Simply pull up the hood and put on the apron, fixing the storm flap if the rain is driving into the pram, and you will be the envy of all those mums with a modern buggy! Their babies are under a see through cover which soon gets covered in raindrops so they can't see out anyway, not to mention they are in line for being soaked by passing traffic. I can never understand why today's pram manufacturers don't make the covers from waterproof fabric. What a nuisance to have to take the plastic raincover out with you on every outing in an unpredictable British climate. Maybe we should all lobby the pram makers to bring back the old fashioned hoods and aprons.
