Breeding prams!
If anyone calls in at my house at the moment they might think my prams are breeding!! Yesterday a friend rang and asked if it would be possible to store her pram for a few days until she moves house, she doesn't trust the removal men to take good care of it! So this morning off I went to collect her pram, nothing too spectacular, just a run of the mill Tenby, detachable body. It had only been used for one baby when my friend bought it and since then it has only been used occasionally by her visiting grandchild. However, despite taking good care of it by lovingly polishing the chrome and buffing the coachwork, sadly my friend had displayed the pram in her conservatory and even though the blinds were kept closed most of the time, the hood and apron have been faded by the sun. Such a shame as the rest of the pram is in beautiful condition. So do be careful when displaying your prams, make sure they are out of direct sunlight - not only does sunlight fade the fabric it can also rot it and make the fabric become brittle.
